A good win for the U9A's today

For us to work on:
We gave away 34 points in wides and no balls, so something for a lot of our bowlers to work on
They also scored 17 byes off us, so perhaps future captain’s could think about potentially having a slip when we have our pace bowlers bowling both for the possibility of catches and to help the wickie out
Fielding highlights
A wicket maiden from Olli, bowling one wicket and Tommy making an excellent catch
Johnny also got two wickets, both bowled
Ben and Max both bowled wickets
Adam made a safe catch off Josh’s ball
Ioan caught and bowled a wicket in the penultimate over
Johnny and Ben both bowled 2 overs without giving away any wides or no balls
Ioan bowled one over without giving away any wides and no balls

Tommy and Johnny added an impressive 30 to our total
both pairs managed this without conceding any wickets
there was good run scoring from Toby (6), Adam (8) and Ioan (8), and in addition to their runs Josh and Max ran in 9 byes.

A good team effort and if your boy wasn’t mentioned above, I know everyone in the team was getting stuck in and that’s what counts.
