Ed Wylde , on debut , bowled a splendid spell ( 10-1-22-4 ) and he was well supported by Rachel Carrick, on return from serious injury, with figures of 8-2-29-1 and Ben Stanbrough ( 3-0-21-1) to restrict St Cross to 120 for 6 off their 42 overs.

In reply Easton's reached the target score after 23 overs with Angus Macleod ( 20 ) , Jamie Banks ( 24 ), a swashbuckling 38 not out ( including 7 fours) by Ben Stanbrough and a patient 30 not out by Paul Sanders who batted throughout the innings making valuable contributions.

Eastons picked up 21 points from the match.
