On a lovely sunny May Day, Easton & Martyr Worthy U11 girls hosted Trojans at home. Easton lost the toss and Trojans' Captain elected to put Easton in to bat first.Trojans bowled well but Easton batted strongly with a great innings from Ruby Lee (9) Amelia Lott (8)and Jazzy Finney (7)with a good 4 from Caitie Croft (7)
At tea (there wasn't any!) Trojans were chasing 293. Easton bowled well with a brilliant innings from Matilda Ashbee and wickets taken by Kitty Shropshire, Maisie Corbett, Ione McNeil, Caitie Croft and Scarlett Ashbee.
The girl's fielding was really slick with Florrie Hansen stopping some great balls.
Trojans ended on 276. A great start to the girls U11 league season and fantastic to see how far all the girls have come on following a season of winter nets.
