Longparish batted first and posted a competitive 246 including four boundaries. Six wickets lost against an impressively accurate and consistent Easton bowling line up. Easton fielding was sharp from the off with good backing up and teamwork. A special mention for Patrick Skipwith who had a very good game as Easton wicket keeper.

Easton batted well with 9 boundaries and the loss of 6 wickets also. Double figure scores from batsmen Noah Gillings, Max de Laszlo and Caspar Edwards helped push the total to 271 and secure a confident win.

Overall a very encouraging start to the late season and great to see the team playing together so well after such limited match practice.
