The boys did really well.

I was really pleased with the running between the wicket today. The boys did really well. There were a couple of run outs, but this sort of judgement comes with experience. One thing to take from the game is if we call YES, then run, don’t wait and see. If you’re unsure - call WAITING.

Batting highlights (after accounting for wickets):
Ethan and Eddie had a partnership of 22 runs, with Ethan hitting 1x 6 and 3x 4’s and Eddie hitting a 4 - great batting
Jonathan and Piers had a partnership of 10
Josh and Toby had a partnership of 9

Fielding highlights:
A tremendous over from Ralph, with 1 wicket bowled and 2 catches (Josh and Jonathan)
Josh caught one of their boys out off Jonathan’s ball
Josh caught and bowled another of their boys out
Josh didn’t give away any wides/no balls in the overs he bowled
Piers, Jonathan and Ethan Skipwith all bowled an over without any wides/no balls
We also had great throwing in to the wicket, with them only just running in in time
